Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at NS SONS 1 HOLDINGS INC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Site Environment: Noisy and hot work site environment.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredients and supplies, ensure quality control, prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records.
- Supervision: Supervise 11-15 people.
- Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and confidential security clearance.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
