Position Overview

The role of the Hotel Front Desk Supervisor involves overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role.
Work Environment

This position is situated within a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures for staff.
  • Perform duties similar to those of the team members supervised.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend strategies to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Assist guests with special requirements to ensure their comfort.
  • Assign, review, and manage the workload of team members.
  • Maintain the functionality of computer systems and equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary to support business continuity.
  • Order materials and supplies as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant technologies.

Safety and Security

Must undergo a criminal record check.
