About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modification Team Lead to join our team at E.S. Fox Limited. As a key member of our Nuclear Services division, you will be responsible for coordinating detailed design and construction work plans, ensuring project efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project ECs for markups of non-design documents, including operations, maintenance, and training documents.
  • Coordinate detailed design activities with Design Team Leaders and obtain weekly status reports from Engineering Service Providers.
  • Setup and chair COMS meetings, review and concur on revision of release plans, and initiate MRs for free-issue material.
  • Inform assessing of changes to design ECs, initiate TCRs for TMODs, and fill in the FTL role as required.
  • Establish AFS/OPS acceptance strategies, coordinate work plan preparation, and ensure new Cat-IDs are set to READY prior to installation.
  • Review ITFs frequently, develop installation and AFS strategies, and prepare detailed commissioning specs and reports.
  • Document installation issues on the ITF, champion resolution of issues, and collaborate with DTL on FIC or intend changes.
  • Arrange post-installation walk-downs with stakeholders, provide installation and commissioning oversight, and ensure all FICs are included in EC revisions prior to AFS.
  • Prepare and coordinate AFS activities, including AFS reports, declarations, and meetings, and coordinate TMOD removal and closeout activities.
  • Perform oversight on design subcontractors, prepare installation and commissioning work plans, and update operations and maintenance procedures as required.
  • Perform constructability reviews on design packages to ensure ease of construction and procurement.
  • Work closely with project management teams to develop construction strategies and ensure input from engineering groups for all project phases.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (asset).
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction scheduling or equivalent combination of training and related construction experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of scheduling, job costing, and project tracking systems.
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Previous construction site experience is an asset.
