About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting patients and healthcare professionals in navigating the complexities of pharmaceutical access and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects and cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution of patient and healthcare professional inquiries.
  • Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies, addressing funding and access issues, compliance programs, and other related matters.
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse event reporting, and liaison with primary healthcare providers.
  • Implement pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other allied health professionals.
  • Document all activities in program-specific databases and participate in ongoing refresher training and specialized training courses as required.
  • Provide feedback on current protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Clear communication with managers, pods, and program-trained colleagues regarding case management during foreseen absences.
  • Participate in the training process of new caseworkers, including shadowing and call monitoring.
  • Report all adverse events to assigned units/departments.
Requirements
  • Medical or healthcare knowledge or experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
