Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at V Parcel Services Ltd. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver packages and parcels to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Vehicle: Safely drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver packages and parcels to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to customers, including answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Package Handling: Load and unload packages and parcels from the vehicle, and sort packages for delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, and report any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a delivery or transportation role.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles), and a valid driver's licence.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work Setting: Work as a courier company, and be on the road for extended periods.
