Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and transferring from bed to wheelchair
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a healthcare setting an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community-based facilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing situations.
