Job Description

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of our client's internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, risk management, and compliance, with experience in evaluating internal controls under the COSO framework.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Professional accounting, audit designation, or related field (e.g. CPA, CISA or CIA)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in evaluating internal controls under the COSO framework
  • Experience with large and complex processes and systems at a large public company

The Senior Internal Auditor will work closely with the management team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the company's internal controls are effective and efficient. The role will involve:

  • Conducting internal control assessments, including documentation and evaluation of controls
  • Performing detailed audit procedures, including walkthroughs, observations, and analytical procedures
  • Facilitating and driving the remediation of internal control weaknesses
  • Planning and executing design or operating effectiveness testing for assigned subprocesses
  • Assessing control gaps and process improvement opportunities
