About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to join our team at Radiant Motors Ltd as a Mechanic Helper. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to maintain a well-organized workshop environment.
  • Site Support: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support during surveying activities and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, combining sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move equipment weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
Requirements
  • Physical Suitability: Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliability: High level of reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime as needed.
