Accounting Technician Job Description

The Northgate Trading Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
