Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to help them meet their performance goals.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire, train, and develop food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service are delivered on time.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food is prepared and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Government Programs
    • Ensure that the restaurant is recognized as a reputable employer and complies with all relevant government regulations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week
