Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at 911 Construction. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed estimates for labor and material costs.
  • Calculate general expenses and overheads.
  • Assess project cash flow and financing needs.
  • Generate and submit comprehensive estimate reports, quotes, and bid forms.
  • Implement quantity take-off methods.
  • Provide guidance on tendering processes.
  • Track and modify contract expenditures as necessary.
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding cost estimate adjustments.
Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with estimating software.
  • Experience with take-off and scheduling packages.
  • Proficient in database management and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP systems.
Experience Requirements
  • Background in civil, commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction.
Project Size Expertise
  • Experience estimating projects ranging from $0 to $8,000,000.
