Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Content Claims Specialist to enhance our operations.

The role of a Content Claims Specialist encompasses several critical functions, primarily focusing on:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service while acting as a liaison between insurance adjusters and policyholders, assisting in the assessment and valuation of total loss contents resulting from various incidents.
  • Ensuring precise and prompt processing of content claims through the application of established claims handling methodologies and advanced processing platforms.
  • Operating from a home-based office, with consistent assignment of new claims to manage on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Documenting all claims handling activities meticulously, including hours worked and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting on-site assessments to collaborate with adjusters, policyholders, and other industry professionals while inventorying total loss contents.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and turnaround for all claims in alignment with company productivity benchmarks.
  • Coordinating with various teams to efficiently manage resources necessary for inventory and valuation processes.
  • Providing timely updates regarding the content claims process to all relevant parties.
  • Completing and submitting detailed logs of work and time spent on each claim task.
  • Keeping accurate notes related to claims within the company’s processing platform.
  • Ensuring all outstanding items are priced accurately, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards.
  • Promoting the company’s brand and reputation in a professional manner.
  • Being adaptable to various environmental conditions during site visits.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Previous experience in the property claims sector is advantageous.
  • Provision of a suitable workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Access to high-speed internet service is required.
  • Company-provided equipment, including a laptop, must be maintained according to policy.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes, with expenses covered by the company.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to new technologies and changes.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
