About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Sales team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in reducing the backlog of pricing requests while maintaining current requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pricing and market analysis to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.
  • Coordinate pricing for the organization's products and/or services.
  • Work closely with business development, marketing, and/or finance departments to develop compliant cost/price strategies and proposals.
  • Enter pricing created by the Pricing Analyst in the Safran ERP (M3), with the ultimate goal of quickly burning down the current backlog.
  • Utilize the RFQ Pricing workflow (Lotus Notes based) to check Cabin Interiors pricing requests, download requests into Excel, create spreadsheets and determine what action is needed.
  • Utilize the Lotus Notes Parts Creation workflow to send part numbers to Parts Masters group for creation in the M3 ERP.
  • Work with Parts Masters to ensure parts are created in a timely manner, and follow up on any blocking points or delays.
  • Gain a clear understanding of M3 pricing functions in both its modules (P600 and P800), checking that proper certification (PMA) is indicated, to assist CSRs with correct placement of orders.
  • Assist Pricing Analyst with answering general pricing questions as necessary in email and in person from the Cabin Services CSRs.
  • Review RSPLs and assist Marketing Analyst and pricing analyst in keeping track of new requests and actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in customer account management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, mathematics, or economics.
