About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our kitchen team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.
- Leadership and Training: Lead by example and provide guidance and support to your team to ensure that our kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously monitor and improve kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that all team members are trained to work safely and report any issues promptly to maintain a secure environment.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a hotel or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Safe Food Handler Certification required.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Ability to use computers and kitchen equipment effectively and safely.
- Physical capabilities to handle the demands of the job.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility in work schedule.
