Financial Analyst Job Description

Miller Thomson LLP is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Vaughan or Toronto office. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans.
  • Provide financial support for audits and other financial activities.
Requirements:
  • Accounting diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CA etc.), an asset.
  • Proven success in working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel in particular.
