Assistant Store Manager

Peoples Jewellers, a subsidiary of Signet Jewelers Limited, is seeking a skilled Assistant Store Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.
About the Role:
The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in maintaining high standards of sales and customer service, while developing the skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty
- Train and evaluate team members to ensure they meet sales and customer service standards
- Recruit and select new team members to meet business needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least one year of retail experience, preferably in a jewelry or specialty retailer
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends
