About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at BHAG CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from project sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to ensure timely project completion.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to maintain optimal performance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to lift and move heavy materials, work at heights, and withstand varying weather conditions.
