Job Title: Transportation Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish work and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including transportation and supply chain management.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational activities.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in supervising teams and managing operational logistics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
