About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 1107443 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Staff Management
    • Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
    • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Operational Management
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
    • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Business Development
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Dependability and accuracy in completing tasks.
