Montessori Lower Elementary (6-9) Teaching Assistant

Part-time Position

The British Columbia Public School Employers' Association is dedicated to fostering a nurturing educational environment. We are seeking a committed individual to join our team as a part-time Lower Elementary Teaching Assistant. This role is integral to supporting our Montessori philosophy and enhancing the learning experience for our students.

Our institution emphasizes a collaborative and innovative approach to education, where mentorship and professional growth are prioritized. As a part of our team, you will work alongside experienced Montessori educators who are passionate about fostering a love for learning in a natural and engaging setting.

Position Overview:

This part-time role involves approximately 20 hours per week, providing essential support in the Lower Elementary classroom. The ideal candidate will have a background in Montessori education, although experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the implementation of Montessori curriculum.
  2. Support the individual learning needs of students.
  3. Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
