Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Infinity Convention Center. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Assist in preparing financial reports, promote conference and meeting services or special events, and develop marketing and communication plans.
  • Logistics: Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details, co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events.
  • Accommodation and Transportation: Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services.
  • Research and Design: Research and design special events programs.
  • Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
