Recreation Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Recreation Team Member to join our team at Schlegel Villages. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality recreational programming to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and promote our resident-centered social culture
  • Develop and implement programs that contribute to residents' holistic health care goals
  • Foster exemplary relationships with residents, families, and team members
  • Assist with planning and implementing programs that promote physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and cognitive growth for residents
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in recreation/leisure studies and/or gerontology
  • Knowledge of the five domains in Therapeutic Recreation
  • Knowledge of recreational therapy practices, methods, techniques, and opportunities to improve residents' well-being and holistic health
