Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Union of Ontario Indians. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet the organization's needs
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Coordinate the implementation of human resources software and other systems to support the HR function
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, management, and external partners to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, performance management, and conflict resolution
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and human resources software
