Job Title: Sanitation Labourer

GFL Environmental is seeking a reliable and physically capable Sanitation Labourer to support our industrial line of business in Thunder Bay. As a Sanitation Labourer, you will be responsible for delivering and servicing portable toilets, maintaining our work truck and units, and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and install portable toilets at customer locations.
  • Service portable toilets by cleaning, stocking, and pumping out sewage.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our work truck and units.
  • Interact with customers to collect payments and resolve any issues.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and long hours.
  • Assist with additional job duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid G license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Tolerance for unpleasant odors and environments.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
  • Meet deadlines and follow instructions.
  • Experience with physical labour and manual handling.
  • Physically capable of maneuvering portable toilets.
  • Driving experience with large trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to back up using only mirrors.
  • Trustworthiness and ability to work independently.
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
