Inventory Control Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of inventory across our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily cycle counts, slot audits, and reconciliation of activities between systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Conduct regular audits and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including warehouse managers, transportation teams, and procurement departments.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management and implement new ideas and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory control and warehousing industry.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize workload.
- Computer applications experience using MS Office.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
