Position Overview

The Hensh Corporation is seeking a dedicated Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. This role involves the preparation and baking of a variety of goods, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for various baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries according to established recipes or special customer requests.
  • Create customized pastries for special events such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Order and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake a variety of mixed doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety practices.
  • Oversee the preparation of special orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise baking staff and maintain a productive kitchen environment.
  • Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and creativity.
  • Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage inventory effectively and oversee the sales of baked products.
  • Prepare dishes that accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
