About the Position:

The Dietary Aide is a key member of our team at Nithview Community, responsible for serving food, assisting with stock, dishwashing, and other related duties. We are seeking a candidate with a great attitude to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve food to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with stock and inventory management
  • Perform dishwashing and cleaning duties
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Nutrition Services and other team members
Requirements:
  • Current Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in food service fields, preferably in an institutional environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to relate, communicate and co-operate effectively with staff, residents, residents' families, and the public
  • Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diet needs of individual residents
