About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway - Edmonton. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and take action to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
