Job Title: Labourer - Project Execution Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our Project Execution team at Bothar. As a Labourer, you will play a critical role in the timely and technical execution of Direct Pipe Installations, Microtunneling, and Auger Boring projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site and equipment setup, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Mix and prepare slurry and lubrication materials as required.
  • Monitor and maintain separation plant equipment and tank volumes.
  • Operate power and hand tools, including aerial lifts and generators.
  • Pull and install tunneling utility lines, including electrical cables and slurry lines.
  • Rig, hoist, and direct lifting equipment, ensuring accurate and safe placement.
  • Participate in daily site meetings and shift crossover meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Load and unload trucks, and sign out tools and materials as required.
  • Maintain, clean, and refurbish equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Able to work in confined spaces and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Fill out required paperwork, including Field Level Hazard Assessments.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate air compressors, pumps, and other equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in construction, with familiarity with hand tools and health and safety practices.
  • Experience in pipeline, direct pipe, or Microtunneling is a strong asset.
  • WHIMIS, First Aid, CSTS or PCST, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, Fall Arrest/Fall Protection, and H2S Alive certifications are required.
  • Pre-employment physical and drug and alcohol clearance are required.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).

Working Conditions:

This position is assigned to field locations during operations, with varying hours of work, including night shifts based on project schedules. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
