Role Responsibilities

Your Contributions

As a representative of TD, you will be dedicated to comprehending our clients while engaging in value-driven advisory discussions. Whether assisting incoming callers with the thrilling acquisition of their first home or vehicle, or addressing complex inquiries regarding existing insurance policies, you will provide reliable support to our clients whenever they require assistance. You will consistently deliver exceptional customer service by offering each caller the appropriate solutions tailored to their unique insurance needs.

As a valued member of our Contact Centre Team, you will:

  • Enhance Customer Experience: Aim to provide an outstanding customer service experience by fostering relationships through value-based advisory conversations and friendly support utilizing your knowledge of TD products, services, and solutions.
  • Efficient Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries at the first point of contact by asking pertinent questions and responding empathetically to their concerns.
  • Meet Performance Goals: Consistently achieve performance objectives, including customer experience survey results, advisory and quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets.
  • Commit to Continuous Learning: Actively engage in ongoing training and coaching to facilitate your growth and development in your role.

Work Environment

Following the completion of in-person training and onboarding sessions, this role operates within a hybrid work model, combining collaborative and independent tasks. You are expected to work from a TD location at least 2 days a week, with the flexibility to work from your secure home office on other days, provided you meet minimum system requirements (e.g., high-speed internet, etc.). Please note that details regarding the hybrid model may evolve based on business needs. The hiring manager will provide further information about how this operates within their team.

Qualifications for Success

  • Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience.
  • Must be bilingual in English and French.
  • (Quebec ONLY) Minimum education requirement: Secondary school diploma or equivalent and a decision issued by the AMF recognizing at least three years of full-time employment experience.
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday between 8am – 11pm and Saturdays between 9am – 6pm.
  • Exceptional listening skills and a genuine desire to assist customers in meeting their needs and resolving concerns through value-based advisory conversations. (Preference given to candidates with experience in financial or service sectors.)
  • Ability to multitask and navigate through various computer systems, applications, and multiple screens efficiently while balancing performance to meet diverse metrics.
  • Digital proficiency across a wide range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, headsets, etc.).
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive demeanor when addressing challenging situations.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Integrity in managing sensitive customer information in accordance with Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to service and sales practices.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • General Insurance (e.g., Other Than Life for Ontario) and/or license in your home province is advantageous.

Training & Onboarding

We will conduct in-person training and onboarding sessions at our Moncton location for 11 weeks to ensure you have all the necessary tools to succeed in your new role. This training will require your commitment, including but not limited to licensing, systems, and procedures.
