About the Opportunity

McMaster University's Department of Oncology is seeking an exceptional Academic Radiation Oncologist to join our team. As a leading institution in health and medicine, we offer a unique opportunity for innovation and excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to clinical service, research, and educational activities in genitourinary and head and neck cancers
  • Participate in the radiation oncology on-call roster and ward consultation service
  • Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate educational activities within the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and the Radiation Oncology Residency Training Program
  • Participate in the clinical trials program and contribute to translational research

Requirements

  • Certificate of registration for a valid license to practice in the province of Ontario issued by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • FRCP in Radiation Oncology, or equivalent qualifications
  • Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association, or equivalent
  • Additional Fellowship training would be an asset
