Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Payroll Tax Manager to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our global mobility team, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll tax advice and compliance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and plan expatriate payroll compliance needs for clients
  • Process and review full cycle payroll processing for multiple clients with medium to high complexity
  • Prepare payroll gross-up tax calculations and conduct payroll tax research
  • Provide payroll tax advisory services on various topics, including non-resident certification, withholding waivers, and taxable benefits
  • Liaise with government departments on behalf of clients and ensure all paperwork and remittances are completed
  • Produce and review year-end tax form production for all payroll compliance
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of expatriate payroll experience
  • Year-end experience with tax form production, CRA, and MRQ
  • Knowledge of Canadian legislation governing payroll
  • Dedication to achieving high standards of client service and professionalism
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Accurate data entry skills and intermediate PC computing experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
