Furniture Store Manager Job Description

LONDON LIQUIDATION CENTRE INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Furniture Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our furniture store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store remains a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize daily store operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and organize daily store activities, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Manage and develop a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
  • Implement and maintain price and credit policies, ensuring that they are fair and competitive.
  • Source and procure high-quality merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure the financial health of the store.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers, ensuring that they have the skills and training needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or furniture store management role.
  • College or CEGEP education.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Furniture Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, communicate effectively with staff and customers, and make decisions quickly in a dynamic environment.
