Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our team at our Stony Plain Food Store in Stony Plain, AB. The successful candidate will provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers at the Deli Counter, package and label prepared foods, meats, cheeses, and other deli items, and maintain a display of deli products ensuring facing, filling, and organization meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Prepare and package deli products, including meats, cheeses, and other items
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including equipment and workspaces
- Monitor case temperature and ensure proper storage and handling of deli products
- Perform other duties as required to support the deli department
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Efficient and accurate when working with deli products
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous retail experience preferred
