Retail Operations Supervisor

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.

Work Environment: This role is situated within a retail service environment, specifically at a gas station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage staff including apprentices and team members.
  • Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Authorize merchandise returns as necessary.
  • Create and manage work schedules for staff.
  • Engage in direct sales activities.
  • Compile reports regarding sales performance, inventory management, and employee matters.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply issues.
  • Maintain organized inventory levels.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of team members.
  • Handle cash management duties.

Supervision: Responsible for supervising a team of 5 to 10 individuals.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods.
