Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Shawarma Royale, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing food order summaries for the chef.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Standing for extended periods and attention to detail are essential.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

35 hours per week.
