About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Chain Corporate Controller to join our team at 2206987 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial and operational success of our restaurant chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
    • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Oversee financial reporting and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Operational Excellence
    • Collaborate with regional and departmental leaders to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and reduce costs
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of financial and operational professionals
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP degree in a related field (e.g. finance, accounting, business administration)
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate controller or similar role
    • Proven track record of driving financial and operational success in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong financial management and analytical skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
