We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Develop and implement menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
