About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Newmarket Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Guests: Welcome guests and direct them to their rooms, amenities, and services.
  • Process Information: Obtain and process information required to provide excellent customer service, including handling guest requests and resolving issues.
  • Record and Relay Information: Accurately record and relay information to guests, colleagues, and management as needed.
  • Maintain Work Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs, including guest interactions and service requests.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, as well as answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
  • Calculate Billing Charges: Accurately calculate and process billing charges for guests.
  • Monitor Mobile Radio or Telephone: Monitor mobile radio or telephone for incoming calls and messages, and respond accordingly.
  • Provide Directory Assistance: Provide directory assistance to guests, including answering questions and providing directions.
  • Relay Service to Persons with Disabilities: Assist guests with disabilities by providing alternative services and accommodations.
  • Perform Data Entry: Accurately enter data into our system, including guest information and service requests.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role, and proficiency is required.
  • Hours: The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
