Masonry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Brickmason to join our team at Paradise Pools and Landscaping. As a Brickmason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using brick, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials.

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, floors, and other structures.
• Estimate materials and tools required for projects and ensure accurate calculations.
• Lay bricks and stone to provide veneer facing and construct prefabricated masonry units.
• Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required and ensure accurate construction.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks.
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure quality workmanship.
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
• Supervise other workers and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their appearance and integrity.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 5 years or more of experience in the field or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Basic security clearance.
• Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.

• Physically demanding work environment.
• Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
• Bending, crouching, and kneeling required.

• Able to work accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and a team player.
