About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Eat Thai Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Assist in planning and developing new menu items, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
