About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Sunder Finishing Carpentry. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our carpenters and laborers with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes and excavators.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
