Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled Estimator to join our team at the Windsor office. In this role, you will oversee the complete estimating and tendering process, which includes preparing Requests for Quotation, budgeting, take-offs, and liaising with subcontractors. A thorough understanding of construction documents and tender specifications is essential. Your goal will be to ensure each project is completed within the designated time frame and budget, contributing to the sustainable growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong working relationships with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Compile estimates by reviewing proposals, drawings, specifications, and tender requirements.
  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to determine costs.
  • Interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules accurately.
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings as necessary.
  • Present estimates by organizing and showcasing numerical and descriptive data.
  • Manage multiple projects while prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within Ontario as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • A degree in a construction-related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong and professional communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
