Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Work Environment:

As a Cook at Boston Pizza, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
