Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Fix Network World. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, financial statement analysis, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Keep accurate and complete records of financial and administrative activities
  • Provide internal and external financial reports, as needed
  • Prepare monthly billing to franchisees and support internal billing verification
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and coordinate with partners to resolve differences
  • Prepare and provide support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform variance analysis on financial statements and identify trends and issues
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, preparing revenue and expense calculations
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reports development for senior management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French language an asset
  • CPA student or certification an asset
  • 3-5 years of experience in business accounting
  • Experience working with different currencies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 and Prophix an asset
  • Experience in franchising an asset
