Job Title: Leasing Manager, Commercial

WP Osborne Executive Search is partnering with Starlight Investments to find a Leasing Manager, Commercial. This role is a key part of the team responsible for delivering high-performance leasing services for office portfolios across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with tenants, brokers, and property managers to achieve leasing milestones and asset management objectives.
  • Source and qualify prospective tenants, and engage existing tenants to compile information for lease recommendations.
  • Negotiate lease proposals and agreements to align with asset management goals, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Strategically negotiate financial and legal terms of lease proposals, agreements, and renewals to attract and retain tenants and maximize property value.
  • Prepare and review leasing documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and coherence.
  • Provide market expertise to support leasing recommendations, conduct research, and stay informed about market trends.
  • Collaborate with Asset Managers to create and implement strategic marketing initiatives for specific units and tenant mixes.
  • Develop leasing reports for internal circulation, including leasing activity, budgets, forecasts, market data, and income levels.
  • Implement and evaluate brand and marketing programs to generate new tenant leads and enhance business relationships.
Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must possess a university degree or college diploma and over two years' experience in commercial leasing. They should have strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven experience building relationships with tenants and brokers.
