CB Canada is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to lead our Real Time Rail (RTR) Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this project, which will provide a platform for innovation to allow Payments Canada members to offer new ways for Canadians and Canadian businesses to pay and be paid in real-time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective, to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure alignment of budgets, spending, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate operation readiness activities with associated teams, including security, infrastructure, network, and software release activities.
  • Provide regular, standardized reporting for team performance, including velocity, stories completed, and project status.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Lead/Delivery Manager/Senior PM with Scrum experience.
  • Strong understanding of backlog tracking, Scrum, and Kanban-based metrics, task definition, and story splitting.
  • Good knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs.
  • Familiarity with common development practices, service-oriented environments, and agile practices.
  • Hands-on experience leading release management activities for successful delivery of product launches.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Diplomatic yet willing to have hard conversations with team members, Product Owner, and delivery partners when there are challenges, issues impeding delivery execution.
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to communicate at levels with all key organizational partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Working experience in JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience with System Design and working independent of Architect on creating pragmatic solutions to technical problems, working with the Scrum team.
  • Working experience in Digital solutions team in Finance industry is an asset.
  • Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is an asset.
