About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Burnaby Lake Child Care. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums, including art, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
