Position Overview
The Commercial Account Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor by preparing essential information for submission to the Marketing Department and/or clients.
This is a Full-Time Permanent position.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor to gather renewal information and implement policy changes as directed. Monitoring expiry lists for the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor. Compiling information for submission to marketers to secure new quotes, organizing the data into a professional presentation for clients. Following up on accounts receivable to ensure prompt invoicing and premium payments. Participating in meetings with the Account Executive and Commercial Multiline Account Executive regarding new or renewal business as necessary.Qualifications for Success –
A minimum Level 1 license is required; completion of CAIB 1 and 2 is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of all aspects of commercial property is essential. A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial insurance is a significant advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Broker Management Software Systems is required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make informed decisions to advance work processes.
