About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced IMT Management Consultant, Strategist, and Planner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving information management and technology (IMT) initiatives for IT development projects within Environment and Protected Areas (EPA). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on water and digital regulatory assurance through strategic planning, partnership building, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data platforms, governance standards, processes, and mechanisms to empower organizations to effectively manage information throughout its lifecycle.
  • Lead the preparation and implementation of government-wide strategies and mandates for data transformation initiatives within the EPA domain.
  • Leverage agile software development methodologies and modern service design principles to deliver complex IT projects comparable in scale to large government agencies, private companies with over 5,000 employees, or startups tackling intricate challenges.
  • Provide extensive expertise in Data Governance, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, encompassing business cases, feasibility studies, risk assessments, scope development, planning, change management, RFP development, technology selection, application development and integration, data integration, testing, and full implementation.
  • Conduct, facilitate, and interpret impact and risk assessments across diverse scenarios.
  • Develop a comprehensive suite of project deliverables, including service blueprints, journey maps, prototypes, business plans, program plans, strategic plans, tactical plans, operational plans, communication plans, and roadmaps.
  • Oversee the project management of software application development and deployment projects within IT environments, utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Analyze, develop, and integrate complex IT systems with a focus on managing multiple data sources, web services, and legacy IT solutions.
  • Craft and implement information management or related policies, standards, and practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Possess experience with Information Governance, records management, and information management best practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and implementing data platforms, governance frameworks, and information management strategies.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading government-wide data transformation initiatives (minimum 10 years).
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale agile software development projects for government agencies, large enterprises, or startups tackling complex challenges (minimum 10 years).
  • Extensive expertise in Data Governance principles and practices (minimum 10 years).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in all aspects of project management, including business cases, feasibility studies, risk assessments, scope development, planning, change management, RFP development, technology selection, application development and integration, data integration, testing, and implementation.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience conducting, facilitating, and interpreting impact and risk assessments.
  • Proven ability to develop a variety of project deliverables, such as service blueprints, journey maps, prototypes, plans (business, program, strategic, tactical, operational, communication), and roadmaps (minimum 10 years).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing software application development and deployment projects using Agile methodologies.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems with a focus on managing multiple data sources, web services, and legacy systems.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience developing information management or related policies, standards, and practices.
  • Experience with Information Governance, records management, and information management principles is a strong asset.
